The 12 Volt Battery Chargers are fully regulated and can
automatically charge our 12 volt gelled-electrolyte batteries
or other lead-acid batteries. All of the chargers have solid
state electronics that provides the exact performance required
for lead-acid batteries with no switches to set. The chargers
also feature overload protection, so continuously shorting
the battery leads will not harm the chargers.
The Model 2.91 is the battery charger
of choice for recharging the 12 Volt 10 Amp Hour gelled-electrolyte
batteries used in our products. The charger can charge one
battery at a time at a maximum rate of 1.5 Amps per hour.
Model 2.89: Charge 2 Batteries at Once
The
Model 2.89 series charger is essentially two
identical and completely independent 12 Volt chargers
in a single package. With the Model 2.89 charger, you
can charge two batteries at the same time. Each
battery would be charged according
to its condition and charge state up to a maximum of
1.5 Amps per hour.
For larger battery applications (at
least 20 Amp-hr rating), the charger can be attached
to a single large battery and charge at the combined
rate of 3.0 Amps/ hr.
